When leeran speaks about being asked to do things because we are single I can relate to that by being asked to constantly babysit my neices and nephews because I was the only one in my family not attending a social function. I wasn't going because I couldn't, wouldn't, shouldn't, didn't want to attend because of depression.
Just some ideas:
a) maybe your best friend just wants you to be
at his wedding;
b) if you got married, would you want him at
your wedding;
c) maybe your the only one he trusts to housesit
and be amongst his private things;
d) maybe you'll meet your future bride at his
wedding;
e) probably I haven't got a clue what I'm talking
about.Having said all this I find it hard to go across the street to the store and get cigarettes, which is about the only thing that will get me out.
