Andre ~ Because I've never felt a change in my appetite (depressed or not), I'm thinking that MAYBE the Effexor took away my racing heart and feelings of panic and maybe the sedate feeling has slowed my metabolism. Ever notice how nervous, jittery people seem to be on the thin side? Just a thought.
I'm beginning the withdrawal process today after talking to my doctor. He suggested weaning myself by adding Kava-Kava in the morning and St. John's Wort in the evening and only taking Effexor every other day for two weeks. We'll see what happens.
Water and exercise (which I LOVE) will help also! Alli
