Well, I can say that not going off Effexor XR correctly will start dropping off weight, but it's the "hard way" and I don't mean working out either. Seriously, I don't think the weight will just "come off." It's not like it's water weight. Some of the pounds may come off fairly quickly, but from my experience it has been the "carb-craving" and eating of wrong foods to satisfy those urges that has caused the weight gain. I can say for me over the past week going through withdrawl, food has not been my biggest concern since it hasn't been staying with me anyway! I will keep you posted as to what happens next since I will not be getting back on another AD! Haven
