This is such a sticky situation. I think you are handling it beautifully. I hope your meeting goes well. Your idea about educating them about the therapy relationship is excellent. Anyone who has never been in therapy or not known someone close in therapy may be absolutely clueless about it.
In the meantime, I may have missed this above, but are you making arrangements to see anyone else? Or are you taking a therapy break for awhile? I hope you have some good support IRL about this, too.
