Try accepting yourself. Try being willing to live and work in the here and now. This is not denial. This is giving your inner being a vacation from the stress and tension of the distorted existence you have lived till now.
Then, once you have found balance and harmony, and your inner voice is one voice, yours, embark on a journey of discovery. Then undergo therapy. Therapy will do so much more for you then.
Relax for awhile, then get some therapy.
