I have been taking 50mg of Seroquel at night for sleep for nearly a year. Some nights I take 100mg, but generally 50. The effect doesn't seem to wear off.
Seroquel is an atypical antipsychotic drug generally used for schizophrenia. Theraputic doses are in the hundreds of milligrams. My research of peoples' experiences seems to indicate that sedation decreases with increased dosages.
I have not had any or little weight gain from Seroquel.
Seroquel SHOULDN'T cause depression.
