Confuzyq, you've always had great skincare advice!

I find after (cough, cough) years of being on this earth, that I prefer The Sothys (spa) skin care line, though it's really priced out of my range. I have a little jar of their Oxyliance moisturizer cream that I'm trying to make last for as long as I can. It has no sunscreen so I don't use it during the day at all.

I use Vaniqa cream (by prescription) on my moustache and pesky chinny-chin-chin hairs that now crop up. Thanks increasingly for nuthin, estrogen. I use the cream at night and it suppresses the growth of hair. Much better than any other short term hair removal I've tried.

For cleansing I like to use something water based with AHA in it to keep my skin looking brighter. At the moment I'm using an Aveeno foaming cleanser which works well.

Day time moisturizer - I am still looking for a good high SPF one that doesn't feel like spackle on my face. Not happy with the Neutrogena tinted moisturizer I'm currently using, but it's SPF30 which is necessary for Florida, unless I want to look like I actually live here. Which I do. I perspire an awful lot, so I mostly use water-proof makeup products when I do wear makeup. At least they stay put for the day instead of smearing all over the place.

I'm going to be 45 this year and my oily skin from my youth is morphing into kinda-sorta-normal skin. Acne was endured for 20 years until at age 32, when I took a 6-month treatment of oral Accutane. It cured it completely and was a horrendous medication to take. Thank goodness for the NHS.
