i must defend the calculator watch.

for example:
if i live in canada, and gas is 0.819 cents a litre, and i travel to the usa, where a us dollar is worth 1.31 canadian, and gas is 1.89 a gallon, does it make sense to buy canadian gasoline or american gasoline?

and it's 3.8 litres to the gallon, right?

(i know, i know, the us gas is almost always cheaper, unless you're in san francisco, but then you can't just go back to canada to refuel ...)

heaven help me if i try to figure out my car's fuel efficiency in miles per gallon if my car's odometer and trip counter are in kilometers and my fuel receipt is in gallons and i have a 40 litre gas tank ...

yes to figure out exchange rates it's very helpful to have a calculator watch indeed ... go geeks go!
