if only some men were as reasonable as you (in seeing that you need to calm down, and THEN solve the relationship issues), and could see that words HURT and tho' you do apologise, some damage is done ... my husband is like that, and altho' getting better, still wounds me deeply and the love diminishes, bit by bit...
many men aren't like that, or think that all they have to do is say "oops, sorry" ... women have long memories and remember every hurt unless SOMETHING changes -- in this case, your depression -- and if strong enough will eventually leave, or leave emotionally ...
i'm not making sense here: know that i congratulate you and wish you and your wife all the best, and hope that the hurts are far behind her now (behind both of you!) ...
keep the faith ...
