Can't tell you about your Mom. If she sees a doctor and starts reading about arthritis that is a start.
The hormones are a system all their own. They effect arthritis as well as hundreds of other body functions.
There are many types of Arthritis and the causes are probably similar, lack of certain minerals for one, calcium.
1. Light Baths both physically and spiritually help
2. Diet, there is not much on diet except I follow some Edgar Cayce recipes. Some say too much diary is not good.
3. Plant derived minerals really help over all function of the body.
There is so much to learn about alternative treatments, and it all interacts and works in concert.
Help your Mom by searching alternatives, then you will be able to help her try them and her doctor and guide her too.
