I like your attitude about creating your own reality. It is true, but other people seem to make this difficult to accomplish completely. Does making positive affirmations every day help you at all? I do believe a lot of what we are seeing with mental illness is a product of our beliefs in society which dictate behavior. It's almost like we don't like what we see or hear, and then we go deeper into ourselves for love, kindness, and truth. It's a double-edged sword. When we are actively participating in society, we become what we see and hear in some respects. If we retreat into ourselves, eventually our behavior becomes strange and we may start believing things that aren't true in the outside world. Is it all biochemical, or is there a hefty amount of psychology involved? I believe both are true.
Like I said, I really like your attitude and keep it up if it helps. I'm sure it will, and I like the fact that you are using non-medication methods to get better. It's refreshing!!Stay Well.
