Thanks for the suggestions, Nancy. My mother's arthritis seems to flare up depending on the seasons and weather. She recently went to the doctor and he gave her a topical medication she could rub into her joints. I don't think she has used it yet. Thanks for the tips, though. She does take extra calcium and magnesium, but she's not into the herbals, some of which could help with inflammation. Yet, the herbals can cause side effects. I told her to take extra vitamin E, which is supposed to be good for arthritis, but she doesn't want to overdo it with fat-soluble vitamins. I'm really surprised there aren't many good medications for advanced osteoarthritis. There are meds for rheumatoid arthritis, but she doesn't have immune problems.
Anyway, thanks for the book suggestions. I do have a CD by Edgar Cayce, but I didn't think it helped me much since my psychosis is more of a biological nature, and I think perhaps memory associated with emotional responses and also the subconscious mind play a part. Emotionally, I am somewhat blunted due to all the medications I am taking, and my motivation is rather poor. Still, all the negative emotional responses are rather under control, but the meds also effect positive feelings as well. The meds are not specific to one kind of emotion or another. That's the problem with them. I have, however, experienced a much better mood and attitude by taking vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, and now implementing Holy Basil into my regimen. Overall, I feel well, but I usually do not experience any euphoria like I used to. Still, I definitely could use a little help changing my beliefs in the area of social interaction. How are your social skills? I definitely need improvement so I can start living my life again.

Stay Well.
