How much are you taking? I'm taking 400mg as I think I mentioned. It is calming definitely. I've tried so many supplements, this one does have a noticable calming effect. It's not quite enough to wipe out the anxiety for me but I value it's calming effect all the same.

I'm going to give Taurine, Inositol and Magnesium a long trial since there's pretty much nothing else alternative that I can try. All three have been studied for their anxiolytic effects. Taurine is a limted anxiolytic but everything helps.

I have never tried any meds apart from SSRIs and they put me off meds for life. I have terrible dizziness from the anxiety and panic and that's what I'm phobic of. Magnesium takes away some of the tension from my muscles so I notice I'm tensing up and am trying to be concious of relaxing my muscles more.

I don't envy anyone that has severe panic/anxiety and like me I'm sure they try anything that sounds promising. I'm now just looking at studied alternatives to try and improve my chances of getting a good combination.
