I found flaxseed oil to be somewhat stimulating, and even agitating.
I'm still looking for alternative remedies for anxiety. I often have a paradoxical reaction to sedating herbs like skullcap or valerian. Sometimes when I take something like a calcium/magnesium supplement it knocks me out, other times, my heart pounds, and I'm even more agitated.
Meditation is calming.
