I've done an extensive search on the net and on amazon based on your hints, but was't able to find that book.
I only came up with a course by Harvard Medical School held in 2003 "Natural Remedies for Psychiatric Disorders: Considering the Alternatives",

Since your description of that book sounds very interesting I'll be happy if you could give some more hints, if you recall something more.
