Thats not exactly true. While some antidepressant can cause liver problems such as Serzone etc.
(In serzone the effective dose is around 400mg.)Others have been shown to be very clean on the liver. Lexapro is an example where only 10mg is the effective dose. Infact 5mg works verry well for some people. Lex is the most potent and selective serotonin uptake inhibitor available.
Celexa too is very clean on the liver.
I beleive that Zoloft is the only one (other than Serzone) than has been linked to any liver dammage at all. (Unless you are refering to the old tricyclics.)
