Anyone's taking Agomelatine (Valdoxan)?

My pdoc said its good for anhedonia. As I've mentioned before my anhedonia is caused by SSRIs cease not depression as that's not my original diagnosis. My pdoc refuses to acknowledge this despite many studies confirm my claim.
Does Valdoxan work? I'm tired of feeling anhedonic. I'm going on meds merry go round. What kind of life is this? Imagine being in my 70s, 80s ,90s and still going to the pdoc. I just don't want to live any longer.
