Never knew there was a name for it but I guess used the Ferber method for first two children and it worked like a charm at two weeks both slept through the night from ll pm til 9am. And today they are very successful adults both doing extremly well. Third child had problems and couldn't self sooth had to be held but by l8 months healthy and sleeping fine. Just my personal story.
