I have never had a hangover from trazadone. I stopped taking it for a year because it's contraindicated with parnate, but my p-doc wanted to give it a try and now I find that ativan puts me to sleep and trazadone keeps me asleep for 8 hours. I have had terrible insomnia from parnate and am delighted with how well this combo works.
I won't try ambien or the others because I already have had problems in the past with sleep walking. At the time, I lived in a flat and I now live in a house with stairs. The thought of wandering down the stairs asleep and possibly falling freaks me out.
