It is not listed as symptom of hypothyroidism anywhere, but my endocrinologist always asked me if I am having trouble breathing. When I was very hypothyroid I did have trouble breathing. No wheezing or coughing, just trouble getting air into my lungs.
As my thryoid levels became closer to normal with medication, my breathing problems slowly went away.
Could be one possible cause ...
