Lung injury (?) after horse accident

janet, you say you have been feeling like this for a few months? It could be that there is a slight chance of asthma since change in weather can make it worse. Also, like Phillipa said, after your "accident" there could be some bruising or pulmonary injury that has compounded the chronic symptoms you have been having. Bruised ribs will always diminish respiratory function. So a visit to your doc, with a referral to a pulmonary specialist, will be the next steps to R/O asthma or another diagnosis.

I have been having some reduced pulmonary function myself and get winded more easily than I have remembered. I think mine is related to my depression being so labile. When I feel better the symptoms resolve.
