Yes, a lot of time asthma is not dx'd espeically if they are not looking for it. My wheeze is sometimes so faint they have trouble hearing it. But I get a tighening in my chest and it is hard to breath, sometimes I cough a lot. There are many signs of asthma, and you don't need to have every one of those symptoms. I would suggest going to a respirtory specialist to rule out asthma and other respirtory problems. Good luck.
