This is also the book that I thought of when I read your post. It gives experiences how personality characteristics can do a 180 just by taking a drug. Of course the problem is getting that drug that will work for you, and hoping that it exists. But new drugs will come out as well.I have been depressed for as long as I can remember, I am a little shy initially, and I am very sensitive, but I can be more of an extravert in certain situations. My depression still lingers and I seem to be treatment resistant so far. I feel your pain, hang in there with us as we search for answers.
