The biggest difference between the benzos is the half-lives. Valium has the longest thus less interdose withdrawals, in other words you can miss a dose and not freak once it is well in your system. Hard to get presribed in the U.S. though as it has a rep as a drug of abuse. Also, Klonopin withdrawals seem to be particularly ugly if you decide to come off them. Why I think is a mystery.
