Clonazepam has been studied in social phobia whereas the other benzos have not.

Valium, Ativan, Tranxene, Frisium.... all are powerful anti-convulsants. In fact, all of the commonly used benzos are probably anti-convulsants.

I think it's more a case of Klonopin being the current fashion!
