> I would love to know if anyone has any experience of coming off Manerix. I have just tried for the 3rd time to come off this drug. My psych suggested cutting by half a tablet every two days. After 10 days I was experiencing nightly vivid dreams and just feeling 'not right' so have now very reluctantly gone back on it again.

That's really surprising. This drug has the reputation of having no withdrawal syndrome. I use this drug for my depression and anxiety. In the past I never stayed on it long enough for it to kick in, and I've stopped it cold turkey a couple of times after five or six weeks without any withdrawal. I may have experienced headache and the obvious return of depression, but nothing like the SSRIs or MAOIs. It's always a good general rule to taper when stopping as your pdoc suggested... what dose have you been on and how long? You know you can start a new drug as soon as two to three days after stopping moclobemide. Is there a drug you have in mind that you want to try next or go back to? That may help to correct the feeling 'not right' and make the vivid dreams more tolerable. I'm sorry you're having such a horrible time.

Hang in there,
Jon
