Anyone know the advantages of one over the other. ANyone taken both (xanax xr having been out in Europe for a while now)?
Xanax alone worked great when I was first depressed with anxiety but after a few weeks it wore off and gave me rebound anxiety and depression. I am thinking that I should give the XR version a shot. Also, there is some clinical evidence that xanax has antidepressant qualities, I wonder if the xr version would be useful in some depressed patients?
