I'm not sure what kind of ED you have, but I've tried a lot of the meds you are asking about and have atypical depression with binge eating disorder. I hate that title, but I guess it's the politically correct instead of saying that I basically go through periods of extreme lethargy, uncontrollable crying and bingeing on food, esp. baked goods. The guilt and depression after uncontrollable eating spells, not to mention the weight gain, make me fell worse about myself and the cycle is ongoing.

Anyway, here's what's the scoop from my experience: Some meds helped my appetite, (as in control it), for a period of time. Unfortunately, in all cases, my huge appetite returned. Some meds made my cravings worse from the get-go, and I stopped those within weeks or days.

Wellbutrin, Prozac, Effexor, Luvox and Lexapro, Topomax suppressed my appetite for a period of time.

Zyprexa (the worst for me), Serzone, Zoloft, Parnate and some others I can't remember seemed to increase my cravings and appetite.

Lexapro and Wellbutrin are best for sexual side effects. I've tried Wellbutrin alone and with Prozac, but never with Luvox. That's probably a good combo to try. Wellbrutrin was great for my energy and supressing my appetite for about 10 days. Then it seemed to just stop working.

I had the longest success on Effexor w/Topomax and Luvox (not taken at the same time). However, the both pooped within months and upping the dosages did not help and increased the negative side effects.

Luvox, by Solvay, has been recently pulled from the market, but the generic is available.

I basically no longer care about sexual side effects but sympathize with others that do. I don't want anyone anywhere near my body right now.

Hope this helps.
