Thank you for your responses... What was the reason you both were taking the combination of the two? What it to treat anxiety or only depression?

Everyone I ask that is taking, or has taken, an SSRI seems to be pretty pleased with its effect on depression -- but most feel forced to live with the negative side effects.

Or I hear of many people switching to Wellbutrin and being much happier. So I'm apprehensive about going in the other direction. I definitely wouldn't be able to stand the feeling of tiredness, that would make me more depressed.

The most troubling part of the anxiety is that there is NOT any real thing that I'm anxious about. I'm just all of a sudden nervous in social situations, I have anxiety attacks for no reason like while I'm driving, or sitting in class. Its not really based in reality. I feel like a weirdo all of a sudden that can't talk to people... its really annoying, especially because I'm usually not like this at all. Maybe it is the Wellbutrin..

I just don't know much about what's out there for anxiety... Are there any other anxiety drug with minimal side effects that I might not know about?? What about Paxil, same thing as Zoloft?
