I take 20 mg Metadate once or twice a day, depending on how long my day is. The cost for Metadate was around $43.00 +/- for 60 tabs. My insurance covered it and I paid a copay. The cost for Ritalin SR was $65.00+/- for 60 tabs and my insurance covered that but my copay was for some reason more. The Metadate has lasted me longer, I have 11 days more tabs @ 2/day and my prescription 30 days is up in 8 days. That's better than the Ritalin SR which barely got me through the 30 days.
