mine did tell me that he was happier going back to his wife and that his life was easier because I wasn't in it....
Trust me... hearing it DOESN'T help; it just seemed like it would help get over the hurt, but it didn't....I was more crushed than I was prior to hearing that- and I didn't think that was possible.
I'm so sorry you're hurting.
