Parsnips aren't that bad...
The key is that you need to marinate vegetables. Really, you do. Then roast them. Parsnip is okay then.Your poem reminded me of a cartoon my officemate stuck on our door at work. There are two cows and a fairy has come along to grant them a wish and the cows ask 'can you genetically modify us to taste like brussel sprouts?'.

If you are going to be an animal or a vegetable, then better to be a non-tasty one I suppose ;-)
