I am on disability due to severe depression and anxiety and bipolar II, depressive type. It was not all that hard to get on it just took a long time. You have to have been out of work for six months before you can apply. Then you apply and generally they make you jump through a lot of hoops and then they turn you down. Then you have to get a lawyer and jump through a bunch more hoops but finally, I was was awarded disability last October. It was a Godsend as there was no way I was able to work. I can't even cook or clean the house anymore most days.
