I had the exact same thing happen, except that I fell out of a bar and landed on my face. Crowned tooth broken off at the gumline. I was messed up to begin with but hoping to die in the dentist's chair. I don't think I have any teeth that have not been restored. I have nightmares where my teeth are flapping like sheets on a laundry line, just swinging back and forth.
