Unless you look WAY different from the photo I saw of you, I think you're really oversensitive to your weight issue.
You know what, my daughter was married to a guy who was VERY overweight. Before they were married, he was a DJ & he had lots of women who liked him.
If you're in a situation where people can get to know YOU (not your weight) - they won't be zeroing in on your appearance. And you know me.....I ALWAYS HARP back to trying to find something you enjoy doing (so the 'alive' part of you is shining through) & see what happens as you get to know people involved in the same thing....right of the bat, you SHARE something in common! Presto.
