I'm pretty good with computers and I really hate to see when people send those computers to those computer repair shops and other "fix it" places.
There are lot of computer related forums, and even non-computer forums like this one where people will help you and you can fix your problem for free.
Those computer shops rip people off big time. Best Buy, Geek Squad, etc. Geek Squad I know charges like $250 to install an OS (Operating System), like $150 to install RAM (which takes about literally one minute to do). It's beyond insulting. I mean they charge so much so things that are incredibly simple. Trust me, I wouldn't go to any of them. Just ask people in any forum and they'll help you.
