What I meant by "try"-- was not run down and join asap-- but--
look into it further. Try it on for size mentally and through talking to a recruitment person, other exmarines or soldiers, etc. Doing concrete things to get a process going-- not of enlisting, but examining real options. Taking the interest seriously, and being responsible about/for it--
Since Matt seems to be very interested and conflicted about the idea.
Go further with it-- Not enlist tomorrow.
Maybe I wasn't clear about the kind of "try" I meant.
