It's good to know you see things from both sides. I guess thats why youyou feel so strongly for not only your daughter in this situation, buy other kids with real stuggles in their lives.
I completly understand your frustration. I have 3 kids, 2 still in school. when they were younger I would deal with this kind of think by calling or visiting the teacher right away, and calmly comming up with a comprimise. Not one of them argued with me, and I was always satisfied as I would go in prepared.
