I am currently reading "The Highly Sensitive Person: How to Thrive When the World Overwhelms You" It often feels like the story of "me" as I am an EXTREMELY sensitive person. (feeling excessively sensitive at the moment, but that's another story).

Hey, gardenergirl. Sorry I didn't respond to this earlier - don't know how I missed it. Sorry : (

I actually haven't read "The Highly Sensitive Person". I've been desperately trying to decide what to do about my career since I'm very unhappy at my job and with what I'm doing. My girlfriend and I were in a bookstore, talking about the oh so light topic of what we want to do with our lives and she picked up "Making Work Work for the Highly Sensitive Person" for me. At a quick glance, it seemed to be "right" for me and now, as I'm reading it, I'm really thinking I should purchase Elaine Aron's book. And if my best friend's perception is that I'm an HSP, odds are there's at least a grain of truth to it, huh?

Obviously, you liked Aron's book. Can you tell me what the highlights were? Will I get a lot out of it?

Thanks!
All Done
