Your comment about problem addiction got me to
thinking. You're absolutely right, of course,
that one's gotta recognize a problem before
anything can be done about it. I think part of
it--at least for me--is realizing that the problem
CAN be solved. I always thought that I had a
problem, but it never ever occurred to me (until
very recently) that anything could be done about it
other than pulling myself up by the bootstraps with
brute force.

This is rather tangential to the discussion at hand,
but I thought I'd throw it in there anyway.
