That's a toughy. I do think it was a good idea to contact a new T to discuss the possibilities. Now that you know the whole situation, I can understand that you feel confused.I wonder if your current T is in denial about his health/memory. Nevertheless, your treatment should not suffer. If you don't feel like you are getting the help you need and deserve, then I think you are obligated to yourself to make a change. Of course, it is your decision what you decide.
I hope you can discuss all of your thoughts and feelings with your current T. Who knows, he may have a suggestion.
