I wanted to reach out and send you support..I'd be devastated if my T of 8/9 years did this to me.
I can't understand why "falling apart" would be wrong. You are in therapy to get help, and even more if you fall apart...I agree with Dinah..I don't believe she doesn't care..I think that right now maybe she wants to respect your decision...but it all seems so painful...I can imagine what you're going through. In previous post of yours, your T reminded me of mine in the way she was there for you ...and how caring she seemed to be.
as difficult and painful as it is, i guess i wouldn't give up on her entirely...i know it's really painful for you, the idea of going back and feeling even more hurt.
I don't know, I don't think i could let go after so many things shared, so many years....maybe in a few months she will have had time to think...I wish you could have her back.
I am so sorry for everything you've been through and are going through.
