toomuchpain - I'm the same way, not with the sexual partners, but with not having friends because of my moods. They can't handle it and they keep telling me to not blame it on being BP, although I never bring that subject up.

ghost - I was feeling the same way. I don't think my meds are working for me. I'm severely depressed and I think whatever meds I should be on should do a lot more for me than what they are. I'm tired of feeling so low. I don't know if I need more anti-depressant or if it's the mood stabilizers that are not working or both. I do want to go for a 2nd opinion and I'm going to mention it at my next pdoc appt this Thursday. I'm sick of living like this and wonder if it is even possible to feel 'normal' again, whatever that is, I don't know anymore.

Thanks to both of you for your input.
