Did you talk to your pdoc? Very brave of you and a really hard, but positive step if you did.
Purging can cause some pretty nasty physical stuff as others have posted. Sports drinks will temporarily help an electrolyte imbalance.
My worst purge caused blood vessels in and around my eyes to burst. I've been bulimic for 27 years and really keep in control most of the time, but purged a few days ago. I just had to. I understand why you think you have to.
