the same has been suggested about nicotine itself. tho yeah, theres the problem of addiction.

tho ive been an inpatient a few times, and each time
a strong majority of the other peoole staying as inpatients smoked. so i guess its either the negative effects of smoking make the AD effects of Nicotine or its metabolites less effective. Or in spite of the short term benefits they receive from Nicotine or Cotinine, it ends up not being beneficial, at least for these patients.
