Yeah TCAs are officially contraindicated with MAOIs because of the risk of serotonin syndrome, it seems that there is a lot of literature out there about safely using amitriptyline concurrently with an MAOI. This thread also mentions Parnate + amitrip:

I think using a small dose of amitriptyline like 5mg might be feasible but you'd absolutely have to do it under close supervision of your doctor.


CPTSD: social phobia, major depression, dissociation.
Currently on 150mg amitriptyline + 12.5mg tianeptine + .25mg risperidone, single dose at night.
Improving.
