I'm sorry Phillipa but I don't quite understand your question, are u asking what the chances of seritonin syndrone by taking 2 low doses of SSRI's? if that's your question the chances are very low. I have tried many types of combination therapy. Lithium for example can be combined with almost any other SSRI. When I got sick it was due to a very high dose of paxil, a very high dose of wellbutrin, and added buspar which increases the effect of both meds. I have very treatment resistant depression and anxiety and I think my dr. had good intentions but simply pushed the envelope too far. After begging several phyciatrist for MAOI's I finally found a nurse practisioner to prescribe Nardil under close supervision. I'm excited at the possibility of getting my life back.
