I actually take 100mg trazadone with parnate. My p-doc said these interactions are rarely a problem and I should just familiarize myself with early signs of serotonin syndrome in case there is a problem. I've been taking trazadone for nearly a year without any problems. Every time I fill the presciption though, the pharmacy calls my p-doc. I also take 1mg of lorazapem every night.

OTC sleep meds mostly contain anti-histamines which are contra-indicated with MAOIs. Will your p-doc give you a scrip for a benzo. Insomnia is a big problem for me with parnate and I find that lorazapem puts me to sleep and trazadone keeps me asleep through the night.
