Low dose aminoglutethimide or ketoconazole ?

Posted by zzzz7 on June 6, 2010, at 23:27:17

Have any of you tried low dose aminoglutethimide or ketoconazole for treatment of depression?

My own depression tracks cortisol spikes exactly (I was amazed when I looked in an endocrinology textbook at a graph of cortisol release--all the spikes in the graph were exactly where I got most depressed during the day). It also gets worse when I exercise, and it gets better for 20 minutes or so when I take a low dose of DHEA.

Any thoughts/suggestions would be most welcome. Thanks.
