Ketaconazole I am not familiar with , except that it is a close relative of Diflucan. The two are supposedly very similar, except that diflucan is safer and less finnicky.
All I know is, from the first day of taking diflucan for suspected fungal issues, I immediately noticed mood improvement more pronounced than an antidepressant. Why or how, other than killing fungus/yeast, I have no idea. It just is.
Trying to get the right dose, I started out at 200mg a day but have since discovered 50mg once every 2 or 3 days is good. It is very long lasting and accumulates.
